Trip Description : By eight-thirty depart for a long-tailed boat journey to the Karen village of Ruam Mitr to ride elephants. The terrain is hilly on the two hours trip and one enjoys a spectacular view of the mountains surrounding Chiang Rai. Once across the ridge descend to a Yao hilltribe village where our vehicle picks you up for a picnic lunch at our hilltribe cottage by a mountain stream. Visit other hill villages in the area and return to Chiang Rai in late afternoon.
