Trip Description : Depart in the morning for the Hilltribe Project at Doi Tung in the northwestern hills of Chiang Rai province. Visit the Doi Tung Royal Villa, Mae Fa Luang Park. Continue into Mae Sai for a stop at the bridge to Burma and shopping. Continue to the Golden Triangle overlooking the Maekhong River to Chiang Saen for a visit to the 14th century ruins. We return to Chiang Rai by sundown. The exact timing of the itinerary may vary due to local conditions and lunch is taken at a restaurant along the route.
