The Touch Star Resort in Chom Tong, Chiang Mai province is located near the Doi Inthanon National Park, home of the highest mountain of Thailand, Doi Inthanon, whose peak can be reached by road and offers breathtaking views of the whole Chiang Mai valley.
The park offers plenty of activities such as bird watching, mountain biking, swimming in nearby waterfalls, hiking and trekking. Several climates can be experienced at different elevations and the changing vegetation is very interesting.
The park is great as a getaway in the hot season, spending a day hiking and taking a rest with a bottle of wine at a remote waterfall is one of the magical experiences available in Northern Thailand. Not far from the park is Mae Jaem, a remote and largely untouched traditional Thai village which offers plenty of interesting sites such as the Mae Jaem shrine, Hmong villages, and world-famous cotton weaving locally produced and offered for sale at local rates.

Touch Star Resort is situated in the foothills of Chiang Mai on Jomthong-Inthanon road, which is on the way to Doi Inthanon,only 39 Km. or 40 minutes drive from Doi Inthanon and 58 kilometers away from Chiang Mai International Airport.
